Ark., and a resident of Luling for 44 years, died Dec. 29. She was the wife of
Hurschel Burleigh and mother of MaryAnn Plattsmier, Sinie Marie Lacour and Hurschel "Macky" Jr., Richard and Leigh Ann Burleigh.Shewas also the daughter of the late Harry and Sinie Murphy McMurrain and sister of Agee
Lowe, Hazel Morton and the late Mary Reid. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Services are today at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Luling, with interment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
